HEATHER & JOHN are Heather Ivins and John Ciambriello—a married couple and creative team, each with over 20 years of experience in their specialized fields. They collaborate on projects ranging from brand design to high-end post-production photo editing to illustration. Their roles vary with each project, as they mix things up depending on the scope of the work and the needs of the client.
Heather began her design career in 1993, working in the sign-making industry in Stuart, Florida. After several years, she moved to Boston to further her career. Heather worked for Fast Company Magazine, Inc Magazine, and SMASH Advertising before moving to New York City in 2002, where she worked as a graphic designer for the marketing department at AOL. She met John shortly after relocating.
John has been working in the advertising industry since 2000, specializing in photography and post-production photo editing (retouching and compositing). He has worked on award-winning ad campaigns, album covers, and music videos. His photo-illustration work can be seen in the film Wonder Woman 1984.
Heather and John are also artists. Heather creates fine art photorealistic colored pencil drawings and loose watercolor paintings, and John focuses on fine art photography, highly-detailed pen and ink drawings, and digital art. They are both active members of the arts community in Stuart, Florida, where they reside with their son Lee.
